Kimee Cleaton is a singer, musician, teacher, composer and conductor living in Shropshire with her husband and three children.
She is an outstanding vocal teacher and conductor, and is always pleased to receive enquiries from pupils looking for a new teacher, or choirs/ensembles that are wanting to source a new or stand-in Musical Director. She is currently MD for the Craven Arms Men’s Chorus and Little Hereford Voices (mixed). As well as voice, she also teaches piano to an advanced level, as well as music theory, flute, recorder and guitar to an intermediate level.
As a composer, Kimee predominantly writes and arranges music for choirs, but also has two pieces published in the Trinity College London Flute and Clarinet Pieces books for the 2017-2020 syllabus. She has recently started writing, recording and producing her own tracks for music libraries.
Kimee sings and plays in various choirs and concerts, both as a soloist, ensemble member and accompanist, as well as performing at weddings, funerals, events and special occasions, pubs/restaurants and other local happenings. Her repertoire for events covers popular hits from 60s-to present as well as some golden oldies, plus favourites from other genres including classical, jazz and rock. She generally sings solo and accompanies herself on piano, but on occasion also sings to high-quality backing tracks for a more party-like feel to an occasion. She mainly performs around the Midlands but will travel further on request.
Kimee is also a frequent leader of sung worship in her church in her home town, as well as leading other worship evenings and occasions when required. For more details on local worship events, please click here, or get in touch through the contact page.
She is a versatile and enthusiastic musician with a love for many different genres of music. She also has past experience in theatre including musicals, dance and drama.
